In this paper,we introduce the structure,the principle,the main technical features and clinical application of a microcomputer-based stimulative instrument,that transfers the electric signals to the electrodes on the pontine of persistent vegetative state patients by radio-frequency coupling or direct coupling to stimulate the reticule-system in pontine and to waken the patient.
